Job Description

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager who is a passionate and experienced marketer who will help lead our company’s content marketing strategy/vision and execution.

A successful candidate must have a solid understanding of inbound marketing and expertise in creating engaging content for all digital outlets (including website, collateral, email, blogs and social networks). The ideal candidate is seen as an expert in the B2B marketing space and loves to write. This person can articulate our business in a compelling way.

What is the role?

  • Educate marketers on app marketing by creating helpful, clear, actionable, and inspirational content.
  • Write compelling thought leadership pieces that articulate the company’s point of view on key trends and challenges facing marketers.
  • Think strategically and create key messages aligned with the company’s main initiatives.
  • In partnership with the VP of Marketing, lead the development and execution of the content strategy to include the blog.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the content strategy and plan (which will include both short-form content, long-form eBooks, visual content, etc.).This will be built off of data, input from Product Marketing, Sales, executives, and team goals.
  • Manage and influence stakeholders to ensure development of assets associated with execution of the plan in accordance with agreed timelines.
  • Ability to take ideas and communicate them in a visual way (whether you’re working with a designer or have a knack for design yourself).
  • Create content for a variety of different channels including the website and social media.
  • Continuous topic ideation and collaboration with various members of the marketing and sales organization to ensure content strategy complements business needs.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of digital marketing or content marketing experience in the B2B industry, preferably in the mobile space.
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to measure content engagement success.
  • Creative thinker and leader with the ability to deliver an excellent product under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to collaborate as well as manage multiple projects.
