Job Description

The Sr. Content Manager, Agency Brand is a prolific and talented digital content creator that produces content across Jack Morton’s digital footprint including email marketing, blog posts, white papers, case studies, paid search, digital advertising and more. This role focuses on marketing Jack Morton as an agency and requires excellent writing/editing chops, great interviewing skills to collect information, attention to detail, and project management skills.

  What you’ll be doing:   Content Strategy & Management

 

  • Conceptualize content-driven projects up-front and copy-editing prior to publishing.
  • Generate white papers, email marketing, blog posts and more to draw attention to the agency and its work.
  • Produce compelling case studies from recent agency work to ensure our story is heard effectively.
  • Alter approaches and optimize content based on analytics and performance.

 

Writing & Editing

 

  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our agency’s tone and mission, ranging from long-form to micro copy.
  • Copy-edit content produced by teammates for grammar, substance and style.

 

Content Distribution

 

  • Create and enhance content across all digital channels including email marketing, social posts and web copy.
  • Run social media profiles, providing regular, helpful content that’s in-tune with our audience’s needs and overseeing engagement strategy.
  • Develop paid search and digital advertising units in order to draw attention to content.

 

Management

 

  • Oversee a Jr. Content Manager’s output, providing feedback, guidance and mentorship.
  • Set goals and career development plan for Jr. Content Manager.

 


 

 

 

  Qualifications  

 

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience, background may be as a content marketer, digital journalist, writer or professional services marketer.
  • 4-7 years content marketing and digital writing experience across multiple channels.
  • Excellent attention to detail both for line editing copy and consistency in style and tone across our content.
  • Past experience with marketing automation, social media, SEO, digital content, CMS desired. HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
