Job Description

MedSchooCoach is searching for a Content Marketing Manager who is motivated, detail-oriented, creative and analytical. This individual will be responsible for managing content strategy, content creation, and deployment. An initial focus will be overseeing and optimizing multiple video series and podcast series to produce excellent content that reaches our target audience. This will require partnership with internal and external content creators and editors to assure all content is consistent, timely and of high production value. You will create, launch, monitor, and report performance.

This individual may also support other marketing initiatives, ranging from social media, to online blogs, tools and promotions.

This person must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be capable of managing many projects simultaneously. They must be proactive, ready to try new things, comfortable with technology, and believe in excellence. Our role is to educate the physicians of tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design content marketing strategies, set short-term goals, and undertake content marketing initiatives that drive impressions and leads.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audio and video content creators to produce and distribute high quality content that drives traffic.
  • Develop editorial calendar, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain website pages where content lives in WordPress.
  • Be the expert to maintain and grow YouTube channel.
  • Be the expert to maintain and grow podcast series viewership.
  • Write, edit, proofread and improve content.
  • Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics.
  • Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence.


  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years minimum of digital marketing experience.
  • Experience managing and optimizing a YouTube Channel with original content.
  • Experience managing all aspects of a weekly podcast.
  • Experience creating web content within a content management system.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of analytics for all media content created.
  • Comfortable with technology and exploring new technologies.
  • A natural leader who can handle multiple tasks, many details, and aggressive deadlines.
  • Comfortable thinking creatively and taking ideas to the next level.
