You Are:

    • A passionate marketer with a broad understanding of the strategies and tactics modern brands use to earn awareness, engagement, and advocacy across social channels.
    • In-tune with user expectations and behaviors across major and niche social channels, and excited about what your favorite brands are doing to explore new formats and channels. 
    • Adept at writing on-brand, actionable content in short and long(er) formats. Bonus points for experience translating complex, jargon-heavy subjects into clear, engaging content.
    • Deeply knowledgeable and comfortable with the creative process, having collaborated with design and video teams from strategy to concept and through execution. 
    • A content strategy expert – you have contributed to and delivered on robust content plans. 
    • You are excited to roll up your sleeves and engage with the social community and customers, fostering conversation and solving customer problems.
    • You are eager to lead and contribute to thought leadership around brand and content strategy in a fast-growing marketing team at a purpose-driven startup.

What You'll Do:

    • Lead the development and growth of our owned communication, including social, blog, and monthly email channels.
    • Own the execution and measurement of our content strategy and calendars, across blog and social media channels.
    • Manage community engagement, including posting, responding to, and managing comments and feedback on paid and organic social content.
    • Help develop and lead a roster of freelance writers and content creators to produce engaging, on-brand content.
    • Contribute to the strategy and execution of live and virtual community events.
    • Help develop ambassador and influencer programs and collaborations.
