Yesware is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to play a major role in bringing this vision to life. As Content Marketing Manager, you will help Yesware grow to 1 million active users by creating, curating, publishing, and distributing content that engages with Yesware’s customers and the vast market of sales professionals who are committed to putting quality and authenticity at the heart of every exchange.
 
Reporting directly to the CMO, the Content Marketing Manager will help develop and execute on Yesware’s thought leadership position and work closely with customers, prospects, and influencers from a wide variety of industries and backgrounds. The ideal candidate is a master storyteller and has experience working across different forms of content and media.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of content marketing/production experience
  • Ability to tell stories in compelling, meaningful ways that generate influence and emotionally connect
  • Experience working in a wide variety of formats
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/threads at once while meeting all deadlines
  • Experience working with Wordpress, Google Analytics, Hootsuite (or similar tool), marketing automation platforms, video production software, video hosting tools, project management software, and more
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, balancing impeccable grammar with an authentic, human voice
  • Desire to break the mold by being bold, creative, and innovative

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Yesware’s content marketing strategy, including its thought leadership position in the market 
  • Build and execute on the content marketing plan across all channels, in alignment with the defined strategy
  • Own all content marketing activities and output in the following areas: social media, blog, customer interviews and stories, podcasting, internal and external market presentations, event-related content, and more
  • Map content marketing activities to overarching business and departmental goals
  • Build the influencer marketing program by identifying and working closely with key influencers to validate and propel Yesware’s message
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and silos to ensure on-time execution
  • Develop KPIs, a measurement system for content, and report on results/effectiveness with a regular cadence
  • Manage all channels of content hosting and distribution
  • Build and manage the editorial calendar
  • Utilize SEO best practices to ensure content is fully optimized for discovery
