The MBTA Customer Technology team seeks an experienced content writer and editor to assist with content creation for a redesigned MBTA.com. This is a short-term, full-time contract position with an expected duration of 6 months, located onsite at the MBTA’s headquarters in Boston. The content writer will work collaboratively with the editorial and design teams to create copy for the new MBTA website and related digital communications, including website and in-app copy, signage, and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating and editing website copy, in-app copy, and/or marketing materials for enterprise or public sector organizations. High attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-read content will be crucial for success. Comfort in technical environments and with user experience fundamentals will also be helpful.
