Position: Are you a content marketing pro that wants an exciting opportunity to drive corporate storytelling and make an impact on business growth? If so, Globalization Partners is looking for a Senior Manager of Content Marketing who is a self-starter with a passion for writing content that makes a business impact. We need an exceptional project manager who is extremely organized and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment. As part of the Brand and Communications team, this person reports to the VP of Brand and Communications and works closely with the Demand Generation Marketing team, marketing leadership, sales and stakeholders to define and execute the content marketing strategy. What You’ll Do Design and execute content marketing initiatives (and write content) to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, customer growth and retention, traffic, engagement and leads Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and an editorial plan to meet the business objectives Have a brand publisher mindset: the create the content our target personas are looking for and then work with the rest of the marketing team to optimize the path to conversion Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Work with the Brand and Creative team to develop editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone. Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed. This person must understand the basic best practices of the main digital and social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis Work closely with internal creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand. Executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required. Qualifications This position is based in Globalization Partner’s Boston office Must have 5-8 years of experience Must have a bachelor’s (university) degree in a communications, marketing or business-related field. Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it Ability to analyze and present content and social performance Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales Highly organized and detail oriented, extremely proactive, excellent follow through Must have critical thinking skills and a creative mind. Writing for international audiences a plus.
